COLORS ON SCREENS
Looking at images of woods and stains shown on our website is a great place to start, and will give you an idea of color ranges and options available.
However, screens only have the ability to process three colors (red, green, & blue) to portray the image. Because of this, it’s impossible for images on screen to match the actual color.
The image on the right demonstrates just how different colors can appear on a screen compared to a real color chip. Believe it or not, it’s the same Riverwood finish.
FINISHES ON COLOR CHIPS
Color chips are the perfect design tool to help you narrow down your decision. Because of their size, you can easily bring them with you when choosing other materials and elements for your space.
While the small size offers convenience, it is limiting at the same time. The amount of characteristics and wood variation will be minimal from what you can expect to see on your completed cabinets. Because of this, we do not recommend making a final purchase decision solely based on color chip selection.
DOOR SAMPLE
Would you buy a car without first taking it for a test drive? Probably not. The same applies to purchasing cabinetry for your home. Cabinets are installed and built-in, becoming part of the architecture, so it’s even more important to know what to expect.
The best way to test drive your cabinet selections, and be comfortable before your final decision, is to view a sample door in the wood, finish and style you are purchasing.
