Holiday Happenings at Crystal Cabinet Works A Season of Giving

COMMUNITY CARE

Similar to Toys for Tots, our contribution for local children is called “Gifts for Kids.” Additionally we have a tree to display collected hats and mittens. The community program is organized by the local VFW, and is distributed to local families in need. It’s especially heartwarming to see handmade hats and mittens from Crystal team members!

HOLIDAY DINNER

Another December event is Crystal’s annual Holiday Dinner. Crystal employees are treated to a traditionally inspired meal, which includes an extended lunch break and prize drawings throughout the day. For 25 years, during the holiday lunch we have collected paper products, food items or monetary donations, with all of it going to the local Princeton food shelf.

FOOD SHELF DONATIONS

Over the last five years $3500 has been donated by Crystal team members, as well as the thousands of non-perishable food items and paper products. Several of those years the company has matched the dollar about donated. These annual amounts are single day collection. In 2019, we will be collecting for 4 days. Crystal employees are always so thoughtful and giving— and willing to help!

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY

One exciting event is Crystal’s annual Children’s Christmas Party! For more than 25 years, Crystal has put on a huge Christmas party for all employee’s children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to attend. The party is a labor of love for a small group of dedicated and creative Crystal employees who volunteer and organize the entire event. It’s an incredible accomplishment year after year. The day of the party several employees and employee’s family members volunteer to work the party with over 500 plus guests attending.
