Cherry & Rustic Cherry

Cherry will vary in color from rich red to reddish brown, to whitish green on sapwood. Cherry is extremely susceptible to mellowing, darkening with exposure to natural and bright light; direct sunlight will cause wood to redden significantly. Will contain brown pith flecks, mineral streaking and small gum pockets and sapwood. Rustic cherry (shown in Breezewood) is similar in color, but will exhibit knots (knots may be solid, cracked, open or thru), burl grain, ray flecking, pitch pockets, tiger stripe, sapwood and worm holes.
